Is Google Maps free?

Google gives free monthly usage, but a billing account is required. Usage is billed to your own Google account. Check Google's pricing page for current limits.

Do I need a Map ID?

No. It is optional and enables advanced markers and cloud styling.

Can I use my own marker images?

Yes. Upload an image for a marker or a category.

Does search look at addresses?

No. Search matches location names only.

Can I show standard markers and categories together?

No. Choose one Marker Type.

Can I use Framer CMS items?

Not directly. Export your items to CSV and use Import Locations.

Why does the sidebar turn into a bottom sheet?

Image Cards switch to a bottom sheet when the component is narrower than about 600 px.

Can I use more than one map on a page?

Yes, with the same API key.
