Troubleshooting
Fix the most common MapFlow and Google Maps problems.
Open the browser console first (press F12). Google prints the exact map error there.
The map is dark and shows "For development purposes only"
Billing is not active on your key's project. Link an active billing account. If you used a free trial, upgrade it. The console shows BillingNotEnabledMapError.
Console error messages
Message | Cause | Fix |

| The key's website restriction blocks this domain | Add your domain and the Framer domains to the key |

A warning about google.maps.Marker
Harmless. It appears when no Map ID is set. Add a Map ID to use advanced markers.
Markers are missing
Check the latitude and longitude. Locations with empty or invalid coordinates are skipped.
The popup button is missing
The location has no link, or the link uses an unsafe scheme. Add an http, https, mailto or tel link.
The map is blank
The component has no height. Give it a height in the layout panel.
Two maps on one page behave oddly
They use different API keys. Use one key.
